In order to update you navigator’s Software, get the Geosat Suite!

The Geosat Suite is a PC application that helps you keeping your Geosat up-to-date and allows you customizing your contents and sharing them with your friends.

1. Download on your PC Geosat Suite (this is necessary only once).

2. Connect your Geosat to the PC with the USB cable, and check through the Suite if there is a Software update available for your navigator.

3. Download the Geosat update for free and install it following the instructions on the Suite.

Connect  your Geosat to the PC periodically to keep it up-to-date!

What you will get through the Geosat Suite

Through the Suite you will be able to update your navigator for free to the latest Software version:

Changes done since v1.3.046R:
Maps:
- Support for raster aeronautical charts (e.g. ICAO VFR, FAA Sectionals, etc).
- New Cycles menu implemented. Available via 'Map Setup -> Presentation setup' item or by holding CYCLE button for 2 seconds. The new CYCLE management allows to better customize the map appearance according to user needs.
- Object icons are now displayed in Quick info, Objects info and Nearest dialogs.
- Selective display/POI view progress bars improved.
- Various improvements to Aeronautical DB (some requires cycle 1206 or higher): added data source and country attributes for airports, added airspace class, ICAO area code is displayed in search results.
Interface:
- Data base dialogs (i.e. airport or address search). Latest entered data is now stored and available after application restart.
- Improved HSI.
- Full info page improved, added TAF and METAR tabs are now available for an airport if weather data is present.
- Selective display. 'VFR Routes' and 'Rep. Points' item is now available also for American regional settings (requires Jeppesen cycle 1203 or newer).
- Data boxes, Go To menu. Word 'Destination' changed to 'Next WP' for items representing data for the next WP. Word 'Final' changed to 'Dest' for items representing data for the destination point.
- Data boxes, Destination. More airport info is now provided for intersection approach point (ID, name, frequencies).
- Data boxes. 'Aprox. Height' data box added (AGL height).
- Tracks. Locate on map command implemented.
- Red cross indicating GPS signal absence removed. Now this state is indicated by 'No GPS' icon.
- Increased fix icon visibility.
Improved usability:
- Map scrolling improved when Fix is available.
- Implemented handling of USB and COM devices connected to the docking station.
- General improvements of external devices management
- Zaon XRX Collision Avoidance System is supported.
- Improved internal and external GPS management.
- Various improvements in User Mark management.
- Various improvements in FP navigation
- Vertical profile. Improvements in display visibility, handling of airspaces with AGL limits and other improvements.
- Vertical navigation improved.
- Distance to the found airspaces is now provided for the following features: Airspace ahead alarm, FP leg airspace alarm, FP airspace check.
- Airspace ahead alarm, FP airspace check dialogs. Airspaces are sorted by distance now instead of by type.
- SAR. Step to adjust Space parameter for Expanding square and Creeping line ahead algorithms reduced from 0.1 to 0.001.
- Disabled 'Resynch GoTo' during approach.
- Range rings improved. Added custom mode, to set a custom ring range.
- Menus, tables, tabs cycling logic improved to avoid unintentional 'jumping' between 1st and last items.
- Current destination info is now available by a new item in the Go To menu 'Next WP info'.
- 'Length' setting (ft/m) added to set units of measure for length parameters (i.e. runway lenght)
- Autopilot. NMEA APA and APB messages supported.
- Device manager functionality added to manage external modules.
- Translations updated and various improvements in multi-language support.

3.   If you do not find the answer to your problem, then write us filling the online Assistance form or contact the CALL CENTER +39 0585 784044

4.   The Customer Support will reply providing you instructions.

5.   If the problem cannot be solved over the phone or email, you will receive via email a repair code  ‘RMA’ with all the instructions to send us your navigator for repair.
